Consultation Bookings
At Tuesday Skin Studio, consultations (Treatment Planning Appointments) are free.
Consultation appointments are standalone appointments, usually 30 minutes, where you and your skin therapist or injector discuss your skin, treatment options, suitability and next steps. No treatment is carried out during a standard consultation.
If you already know what treatment you would like to book, you can select a consult + treatment appointment. These appointments require a deposit, which is redeemable on the treatment booked or transferable to a credit on your file.
Refusal of Treatment
At Tuesday Skin Studio, client safety comes first.
We reserve the right to refuse treatment if our skin therapists or injectors believe it is unsafe, unsuitable or inappropriate for any reason. Their decision is final.
We do not provide treatments for anyone aged 18 years or under, even with parent or guardian consent.
We also reserve the right to refuse treatment if a client is not deemed able to follow the required preparation, aftercare or compliance instructions for their treatment.
Health, Suitability & Disclosure
Clients are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date information before every appointment.
This includes, but is not limited to, health history, medications, allergies, pregnancy or breastfeeding status, recent treatments, recent sun exposure, fake tan, active skincare use, skin conditions and any relevant changes since your last appointment.
If relevant information is not disclosed, or if treatment is deemed unsuitable on the day, your appointment may need to be postponed, rescheduled or cancelled.
For safety reasons, some treatments are not suitable during pregnancy, breastfeeding or while trying to conceive. Please let us know before booking if this applies to you so we can advise on treatment suitability.
Treatment Preparation
Some treatments require specific preparation before your appointment.
This may include avoiding excessive sun exposure, fake tan, active skincare, certain medications, alcohol, exercise, waxing, shaving, cosmetic treatments or other skin procedures before your appointment.
If you arrive unsuitable for treatment due to missed preparation requirements, recent sun exposure, fake tan, illness, incomplete forms or contraindications, we may not be able to treat you on the day. Your appointment may need to be rescheduled or cancelled, and your deposit may be retained.
Treatment Appointment Bookings & Deposits
A deposit is required to secure selected treatment appointments. Deposits are paid by debit or credit card through our online booking system at the time of booking.
Your deposit will be deducted from the total cost of your service on the day of your appointment.
Our deposit amounts vary depending on the value and type of appointment booked:
Less than $250: payment in full is required
Tox and hair removal services: $50 deposit
$251 to $600: $150 deposit
$601 to $1,000: $250 deposit
$1,001 and above: $350 deposit
If you wish to book a future appointment, a new deposit will be required at the time of booking.
Deposits are refundable or transferable when sufficient notice is provided, in line with our cancellation and rescheduling policy.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
At Tuesday Skin Studio, your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you.
We are a small, appointment-based clinic with a waitlist of clients hoping to book in. Late cancellations and no-shows make it difficult for us to offer that time to someone else, so we ask that all clients respect the policy below.
We require at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule any appointment. This includes consultations, skin treatments, injectables, laser appointments, memberships, packages and prepaid treatment appointments.
If your appointment is more than 48 hours away, you can manage your booking using the link in your confirmation email or by logging in through Manage Your Booking on our website.
If your appointment is within 48 hours, please text or call us as soon as possible.
Please do not use Instagram or Facebook DMs for appointment changes, as these are not always monitored.
Cancellations or reschedules made within 48 hours of your appointment may result in up to 100% of your deposit being retained.
For Monday appointments, cancellations or reschedules must be made by the Friday prior to your scheduled appointment.
Appointment Reminders
To give you plenty of time to manage your booking, we send appointment reminders before your visit.
A reminder email is sent 5 days before your appointment and includes a link to manage your booking online.
A reminder text is sent 72 hours before your appointment.
These reminders are designed to help you make any changes before the 48-hour notice period begins, giving us enough time to offer your appointment to someone on our waitlist.
No-Shows
A no-show is when you do not attend your appointment and do not contact us before your scheduled time.
No-shows may result in your deposit being retained, the treatment being forfeited, or future booking restrictions being applied.
Future appointments may require full prepayment or manager approval.
Memberships and Prepaid Packages (Series of Treatments)
For Sub Club skin memberships (managed via Aglow), and prepaid packages, your appointment time is still reserved exclusively for you.
Late cancellations, reschedules within 48 hours, or no-shows may result in the scheduled treatment being forfeited from your membership or package.
Membership payments will continue as agreed, regardless of missed or forfeited appointments.
Late Arrivals
Please arrive on time for your appointment.
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may not be able to safely complete your treatment within the allocated time. Your appointment may need to be shortened, rescheduled or cancelled, and your deposit may be retained.
Treatment Results
Treatment outcomes vary from person to person.
Results are influenced by many factors, including skin condition, age, health, hormones, lifestyle, genetics, aftercare, homecare, treatment frequency and how your body responds to treatment.
While we always aim to achieve the best possible outcome, results cannot be guaranteed.
Multiple treatments, ongoing maintenance and prescribed homecare may be recommended to achieve and maintain results.
If you are concerned about how your skin is progressing or feel your results are not meeting expectations, please contact us. We encourage open communication and are happy to reassess your treatment plan, provide guidance and support you in achieving the best possible outcome.
Refunds on Completed Treatments
We do not offer refunds for completed treatments or services.
If you have concerns about your treatment outcome, please contact us so we can review your result, discuss your concerns and provide appropriate advice.
Product Returns
Due to hygiene and safety requirements, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on opened or used skincare, makeup or retail products unless the product is faulty.
Unopened products may be eligible for exchange or credit at our discretion.
If you believe a product is faulty, please contact us as soon as possible so we can assess the issue.
Payment, Surcharges & Green Fee
Payment is required on the day of treatment unless otherwise agreed.
Card and contactless payments may attract a surcharge.
A small Green Fee may be added to treatment invoices to support our sustainability practices through Sustainable Salons.
Consent Forms & Clinical Records
All required consultation and consent forms must be completed before treatment.
If forms are not completed, or if the information provided means treatment is unsuitable, your appointment may need to be rescheduled or cancelled.
Clinical notes, treatment records and photographs may be taken and stored as part of your client file. These are used for consultation, treatment planning, progress tracking, clinical documentation and client safety.
Clinical images will not be used for marketing without your separate consent.
Genuine Emergencies
We understand that life happens. Illness, family emergencies and unexpected situations will always be considered with care.
However, repeated late cancellations, last-minute reschedules or no-shows may still result in deposit loss, treatment forfeiture, full prepayment requirements or future booking restrictions.
Complaints
At Tuesday Skin Studio, we take pride in the quality of our services and will do our best to resolve any complaints as quickly as possible. Complaints about any aspect of Tuesday Skin Studio should be made in writing by emailing hello@tuesdayskin.com
We aim to acknowledge by return email within 2 business days.
Children
Tuesday Skin Studio has not been designed with children in mind, and we prefer that children do not attend appointments.
If bringing a child cannot be avoided, please bring another responsible adult to supervise any children aged 12 or under.
Children are not allowed in clinic rooms under any circumstances. This is to ensure the safety of your child, yourself and our skin therapists and injectors.
Children cannot be left unattended in any area of the clinic.
